Greece shuts down public broadcaster

Greek opposition leader Alexis Tsipras earlier urged President Carolos Papoulias to cancel an executive order closing public broadcaster, ERT. Mr Tsipras described the closure as “illegal”, adding: “Many times the word ‘coup’ is used as an exaggeration.
