Legality of drone killings still murky

The White House is refusing to share fully with Congress the legal opinions that justify targeted killings of Americans. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/02/21/us/politics/strategy-seeks-to-ensure-bid-of-brennan-for-cia.html?hp&_r=0  How will Congress conduct oversight of a shadow war against people suspected of being terrorists when documents were available to be viewed only for a limited time and only by senators themselves, not their lawyers and experts? There are a number of unanswered questions about the president’s authority to kill Americans, “We have this drone war, and the American public has no idea what the rules are, and Congress doesn’t know much more,”“President Obama and Mr. Brennan have both pledged transparency, let’s see it.”
