The boy’s mother, Sujey Annel Cruz Cazarez, was quoted in the paper as saying: “Why did they kill him? Why?”
Andy Lopez played trumpet in the band at Lawrence Cook Middle School. “He was a very popular student, very smart, very capable,” Linsey Gannon, the school’s assistant principal, told the newspaper.
